New Sponsor RG3 I have to take a minute and put a blurb on here about one of my new sponsors, RG3 suspension. First I want to say that I appreciate ALL of my sponsors no matter how big or small they are, but sometimes there is something a little extra. I have only been with RG3 for a couple of months now and all I can say is WOW! Their stuff works awesome and they have great support. If any of you are looking for suspension, I highly recommend that you give Heath a call at RG3 and talk to him. He is very easy to talk to and really knows his stuff. If you run RG3 suspension, you won't be disappointed. If you see me at the local track, watch my bike compared to the other bikes on the track. You WILL see a difference. See ya at the races, Brad |

Update I just thought I would post an update. I have been busy with my riding schools and practicing during the week and racing local races on the weekends. When I'm not giving a lesson or riding I am still working at No-Toil and saving my money for this next year. I am hoping to do some supercross races, but for sure I will be doing all of the outdoor nationals. I will be staying on Yamaha's for 2009 riding for Yamaha Sports Center (thanks Tony) with Posey Racing building my motors again (thanks Al) and RG3 doing my suspension (thanks Heath). Once again Sheehan Construction will be backing my racing this year (thanks Steve) I couldn't do this without all of your help and support. Also, I have many other sponsors that really help me with my racing and I really appreciate all of their help and support. See you at the races! |

Steel City I missed making the main at Steel City by 8/10ths of a second. I was in with the 34th fastest time and then on the last lap of qualifying I got bumped by two other riders. I was sure I had made it, but as it turned out I just missed it. I went to the consi knowing all I needed was a decent start because my speed was there. Unfortunately on the start me and another rider got tangled up and we both went down before we even made it to the first turn. My bike was a mess, but luckily I came away with just a headache. It's not the way I wanted to finish out the season, but at least I finished the year with out any injuries and feel like my speed is improving. A big thanks to all of my sponsors that supported me this past year and I look forward to working with all of you again in 2009. |

Southwick National This past weekend was the AMA national at the famous Southwick sand track. I really love sand tracks, but for some reason I just had an off weekend. Nothing much else to say except I am going to get ready for Steel City next weekend and try to finish the season on a positive note. See ya at the races! |

Millville National I am really disappointed about this past weekend. First, I was sick all week, but was feeling better by the weekend. I missed qualifying in the timed sessions, but felt I could get in through the consi race. This was the biggest turn out of the year and we had 38 riders in the consi. I didn't get the start I wanted and came around the first turn in about 10th. By the end of lap one I was in 6th and knew a top 5 would be no problem. (they take 5 to the main). At the end of the second lap I had made the pass and was in 5th. I knew I was in qualifying position now, but I was gaining on 4th really fast so I made the pass and moved into 4th. Now I knew I just had to finish the moto and get ready for Sunday's mains. On the next lap I came over a blind single and the guy in 3rd had just crashed and his bike was laying in the middle of the track. I landed right on his bike and tried to save it, but down I went. The guy in 5th behind me hit the bike too and also crashed. So there went 3rd, 4th and 5th in a pile. (I guess 6th, 7th and 8th were happy). I guess the bright side is I didn't get hurt and neither did my bike. I am so bummed I didn't get to race the mains at Millville. Next week is Southwick and I am really looking forward to riding that sand track. I love riding sand tracks and hopefully all my sand riding skills will get me some good results next week. |
