This was a good pro purse race that I found to race on our off week. I rode really good going 2-1 for the overall win. (it's nice to earn some extra gas money) Now it's time to get prepared for Steel City next weekend. |

There was a major storm that came through and made the track a muddy mess for Saturday qualifiers. The AMA cut the qualifier to one instead of two because of the weather. I crashed on my first lap of qualifying and couldn't get my bike started. | |

Total Bummer! I didn't even get a chance to qualify because my bike blew up on the first lap of qualifiers. In the second qualifier I wasn't allowed out on the track with my back up bike because I didn't take it through tech inspection prior to practice. I am totally bummed right now. Next week is Budds Creek and I can't wait. | |

I had lousy starts on the concrete pad there (39th out of 42 in both motos) but I fought hard to get through the pack. I felt I could have been in the top 10 with better starts. Good thing the AMA doesn't allow concrete starts. lol |

They have an awesome track at Cycle Ranch. The track is real wide and very loamy. The only bad part was concrete starting gates. I suck on concrete! Anyway, after 2 bad starts I rode really well and finished in the top 10. If I only could have got a start.... |

This was my first time making the main at an AMA outdoor national. I rode good but was way tight and got tired with about 5 laps to go. I got a bad start 39th, but worked my way up to 27th before I faded. I need to train harder. In moto 2 I crashed on the first lap and never could really get going from there. |
